Student assistants

The ThULB employs student assistants to support library operations by providing support and supervision. They are primarily employed in our branch libraries and should fulfil the following profile:

• Structured, conscientious, committed, independent and reliable way of working
• Service-orientation, communication skills
• German language skills
• physical resilience
• no further employment contract with the University of Jena

Notes on employment:

• short-term employment in accordance with § 8 paragraph 1 sentence 2 SGB IV
• Employment primarily in late-night and weekend work
• Employment period between three and ten months
• Fixed monthly hourly rate between 20 and 30 hours per month
