ThULB offers registered users access to the internet free of charge.
Primarily, this access is provided for scientific research and the use of e-media and databases.
University of Jena takes part in the international internet acces roaming program called “eduroam”.
After having installed “eduroam” on your device you can use your computer centre login to access the university network for free at all of ThULB’s locations.

Via eduroam, users have the chance to access all licensed electronic media of the library.
Our open access areas provide work stations that allow users to connect with a LAN cable. These work stations usually carry the label ‘Laptop’ - network sockets are tagged ‘VPN’.

Changes of settings and software as well as the installation of programs is strictly forbidden.
