Registration

Students will be registered automatically at the time of matriculation. The duration of membership is connected to your enrolment at the university.

Registration at the Central Loan Desk is required. Please bring the following documents:

• valid thoska card
• valid identity card
  • or passport with current registration certificate (not older than six months)
  • or residence permit

The duration of membership is connected to your affiliation with the university.

Registration at the Central Loan Desk in the Main Library Building, in the Branch Library of Medicine in Lobeda or in the Branch Library of Medicine (Vorklinik) is required. Please bring the following documents:

Membership in the library is connected to the expiry date of the thoska card. It can be extended by submitting the documents mentioned above at the Central Loan Desk. The extension is free of charge.

Registration at the Central Loan Desk is required:

• The person must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The accompanying person must present a valid identity card or passport with a current registration certificate (max. six months old) or residence permit.

    • In case you don’t own a thoska card yet it can be purchased at the Central Loan Desk for 10€ (please bring a banknote)
  • completed letter of agreement

The registration is usually valid for one year and can be extended free of charge on presentation of the above-mentioned documents and - if the child has not yet reached the age of 17 - in the presence of the person authorised to represent the child at the central lending desk.

• people between 16 and 18 years of age need to bring a letter of agreement signed by a parent or a legal guardian

Membership is valid for one year. Before expiration it can be extended for further 12 months by submitting the documents mentioned above at the Central Loan Desk. The extension is free of charge.

Corporate bodies who intend to use the library can apply for membership at the Central Loan Desk by submitting an informal letter. It should contain the following details:

• address
• legal form
• authorised persons (two at most)
• company stamp and signature of applicant

Please add 10€ (as a banknote) to your application to cover the costs for the thoska card. The library will negotiate an appointment to finalise the registration on-site.

Please note: Licensed online materials won’t become accessible after registration. The access is reduced to printed media only

Membership is valid for one year. Before expiration it can be extended for further 12 months by an authorised person at the Central Loan Desk. The extension is free of charge.
