Unregistered users are able to browse through our online catalogue ThULB-Suche and can use media from the open access area inside the respective branch library. For advanced services (loans, interlibrary loans, etc) registration is required.

Membership in the library is connected to the expiry date of the thoska card. It can be extended by submitting the documents mentioned above at the Central Loan Desk. The extension is free of charge.

The registration is usually valid for one year and can be extended free of charge on presentation of the above-mentioned documents and - if the child has not yet reached the age of 17 - in the presence of the person authorised to represent the child at the central lending desk.

Please add 10€ (as a banknote) to your application to cover the costs for the thoska card. The library will negotiate an appointment to finalise the registration on-site.
Please note: Licensed online materials won’t become accessible after registration. The access is reduced to printed media only
