With the start of the summer semester 2023, the booking conditions (CARREL) for the single study cabins in the main library building of the ThULB will change. Previously, these could only be booked holistically for a full day.

From now on, the interval of an hourly booking applies - with a total contingent of a maximum of eight hours, which can be booked in one piece or hourly over a maximum of three days. Expired hours can be appended to current bookings or reassigned.

• Bookings can be created more flexibly.
• Independent release of a room after premature termination of use is possible.
• Bookings that have not been made no longer result in a carrel being empty for the entire day, as the maximum booking duration is eight hours.

With these changes we would like to meet the requests of our users for more flexible access to the single study cabins .
