We are pleased to be able to fulfil another request from the last user survey:
From now on, you can take bags (e.g. backpacks, laptop bags, etc.) and outerwear such as jackets into the library at your workplace. 

However, we ask you to continue to be fair and considerate of each other: 

• Do not occupy workstations with bags, jackets, etc.
• Keep traffic and escape routes clear and unobstructed.
• Leave your workplace as you would like to find it.

++ Important information and exceptions ++

• Food inside the library still is not permitted. If you want to eat, you can use the areas of the Studierendenwerk (Mensa / Cafeteria).
• Please take care of your valuables and personal belongings. The ThULB accepts no liability!
• You can still use the lockers for your belongings and the baskets provided for transporting work materials.  
• In order to protect sensitive historical stocks, the following areas are excluded from the new regulation: 
  • Special reading rooms in the Main Library Building
  • Herbarium Haussknecht
  • separate reading area on the first 1st floor (loose-leaf collections) of the Branch Library of Law, Economics and Social Sciences
