The outside staircase in front of the main entrance to the main library building is expected to be closed for construction work from Monday, April 8, 2024 until the beginning of May 2024.

In addition to replacing the steps, the plan is to stabilize the railings, renovate the concrete column and loosen up the tree slice.

An alternative (barrier-free) entrance and exit will be signposted on site.
 

Information on the building entrance and exit

•  Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00 via the cafeteria. The opening hours of the cafeteria will not change due to the construction work.
•  Monday to Friday from 17:00 to 22:00 via the side doors of the main entrance.
•  Saturday and Sunday the side doors of the main entrance can be used all day.
•  The revolving door / door lock at the main entrance will remain permanently closed during the construction work.

Bicycle parking spaces

Bicycle parking spaces will have to be saved or relocated as part of the construction work. It is planned to create alternative parking spaces on the forecourt of the cafeteria. Please keep the construction site and entrance area (entrances) clear and use the existing parking facilities.
